The Ioniq 5 comes with a 120V charging cable only. This means customer is free to purchase whatever level 2 (240V) charging solution that suits their needs.
Since we are not aware of the Ioniq 5 having have the ability to change the charge rate from the car, but it is simplified to 3 settings.

Max is the nearest maximum supported charge rate negotiated with the EVSE.
Reduce is the nearest 80% of the maximum supported charge rate negotiated with the EVSE.
Minimum is the nearest 60% of the maximum supported charge rate negotiated with the EVSE.
Since customer will need to buy a L2 charging cable (EVSE), the recommended configurations are:
If sharing a circuit with dryer:
use a Splitter Switch SPS 01C1-011 or SPS 02C2-022 model with any 3rd party 24 amps EVSE ( such as splitvolt’s mobile charging cables). This will allow the maximum amount of current (24 amps, 5.7kw) to be pulled from a 30 amps dryer circuit.
