BMW I3 i3, i4 and Mini comes with a 30 amps (7kw) rated EVSE, also known as a mobile charging adapter. The EVSE comes with a NEMA 14-50 plug and a NEMA 5-15 plug.

This means when used with our 24 amps Splitvolt Splitter, SPS 01-031-01 and SPS 02C2-032, it will trip the breaker, typically in about 1hr.

There is an easy way to change the charge rate from the car, down to 15 amps (3.6 KW), by selecting the reduced option.
