If you are looking to share an existing 240V socket using Splitvolt’s Splitter Switch, here are couple of options

1. Buy a SPS 01-031-01 or 02C2-032 splitter and use either the

   1. Tesla UMC with NEMA 14-50 plug adapter

   2. Any 3rd party, including splitvolt’s 40 amps charging cable

   3. Then set charging rate to 24 amps from the car, which is the maximum charging rate set by the National Electrical code (NEC).

2. Buy a SPS C1-011, 01-011 or C2-022 , 02-022 splitter with (C1-011 and C2-022 are the ETL safety certified version in black color)

   1. Tesla UMC with NEMA 10-30 plug adapter or 14-30 adapter

   2. Any 3rd party, including splitvolt’s 24 amps charging cable

   3. Then charging rate will be automatically set to 24 amps.
