Does Splitvolt Splitter Switch have surge protection?

The breaker inside the splitter switch is a thermomagnetic breaker, which means it offers protection against overcurrent and short circuit. It does not offer surge protection. However, all EVSEs that we have seen on the market have surge protection, thus there is no need for this redundancy.
